Delete from Librix
In the current app, open Account → Delete profile, review the confirmation and continue. Librix deletes the local profile and associated books, reading history, preferences, timer state and scheduled-session records; cancels local reminders; and attempts to remove app-managed book/cover files and cached export copies where the operating system permits. If the app reports a cleanup warning, also clear Librix storage in device settings. There is no server-side profile or library copy to delete. This control is present only in app builds containing this update; if it is unavailable, follow the device-level instructions below.
If you cannot use Delete profile
On Android, if you cannot open the app or it reports a cleanup warning, open Settings → Apps → Librix → Storage & cache → Clear storage (labels vary by device). This clears Librix data saved by that installation.
On iPhone or iPad, if you cannot use the in-app control or cleanup reports a warning, delete Librix from Settings → General → iPhone Storage → Librix → Delete App, or use the home-screen removal flow and choose Delete App. Do not choose Offload App if you intend to remove its documents and data.
Delete exported backups separately
Backups saved or shared outside Librix are separate files and are not removed when you delete a profile or the app. Current JSON exports exclude the password and hash, but are not encrypted by Librix. Older app builds may have created backups containing a plain-text password; treat those files as sensitive. Locate and delete each copy in Files, Downloads, cloud storage, email or messaging apps.
